Romancing The Home
Romancing The Home
Buy a plant or bush and plant it together to celebrate how great
it is just to be married.
Invest
in a Cappuccino maker and subscription to a couple of good magazines and plan a
night a month where you sit by the fire or on the patio together.
The
next starlight evening turn out all the lights and go outside on the patio or
lay in the backyard looking at the sky together.
Turn
all the lights out in the house and listen to your favorite type of music
cuddled up on the couch.
Check
out a book from the library on Massage Therapy and practice on each other.
Turn
the bathroom into Spa Le Romance. Bubble
bath, mood candles, soft music are required.
Invest
in a porch or patio swing and use it to sit together and just talk.
Have
a candlelight meal. If your children are
young have them looked after by friends and then return the favor for
them. If the kids are older have them
plan a candlelight meal for you and then make themselves scarce.
Plan
a conversation night. No T.V. No phone.
No kids.
Rent
an old movie that you both have seen before perhaps while you were dating,
enjoy popcorn and memories.
Get
some old photographs out and talk about the memories they create.
Buy
some body lotions and fragrance oils and put them to use.
Place
a bouquet of flowers and/or a special note of love, affection and appreciation
in a place that is unexpected. (i.e.
Laundry room, garage.)
Make
phone calls to some old friends that you have had some good times with. Share these conversations.
