There are three things that will keep every marriage relationship rockin’:
Respect - The value that we place in our partner most often is displayed by the little things. If we demonstrate honor in the little things it will be a natural progression to show and be shown admiration.
Restitution - Make things right when they have been done wrong. Be blameless not perfect. A blameless life goes back to mistakes and makes them right.
Responsibility - Re-define the word as the ‘ability to respond’. If I have a sense that I have the ability to respond in a proper way next time then I can address the same negative situation in a different positive way.
Thoughts to Ponder:
How can I show respect to my partner in little things of the day?
How have I made things I know to be wrong, right?
How can I respond differently to negative situations?
